Compassionate Care For Animals Of All Ages
The Shelburne Falls Veterinary Hospital was founded by Dr. Mark Broady with the goal of providing high quality, compassionate care to all who walk through our doors. Dr. Broady is a native of Connecticut and a Cornell Veterinary School graduate with over 45 years of experience treating companion animals. His special areas of interest include dermatology, geriatric care, and laser therapy.
The first thing anyone notices about Jen is her positive approach to life and strong love of all animals. She has a particular soft spot for misunderstood pets who require extra compassion. When she's not helping those in need at the hospital, she's caring for all the happy critters on her small farm in Rowe.
Lila joined our team in 2020 and has always been an animal person. Her passion for learning inspires her to see every challenge as a valuable growing experience. In her time working at the practice she has developed a soft spot for fractious cats and loves to spend her days at home with her two fabulous felines.
After forgoing school and searching for a job that would allow her to work with animals, Izzy became the current office manager in the Spring of 2022. Izzy was raised on a farm in Central Mass and grew up surrounded by animals of all personalities, ages and ailments. She spends her free time cooking and eating with her beloved pets.
Haley is the newest addition to our team, joining us during the summer of 2022. Since then, she has been working tirelessly to develop new skills that will one day help her be a fantastic livestock veterinarian. Outside of work, Haley can be found watching veterinary shows to relax and doing generally farm-related activities.
Phattie was surrendered to our office in May of 2022 after a difficult diagnosis of diabetes. Since then, she has become an integral part of our team, providing love and laughs on a daily basis despite her grumpy demeanor. Beyond companionship, Phattie has graciously helped our entire staff learn more about diabetic care in cats and other creatures. We love you Phattie!
